complains + pictures

ok first of all, i have tonnes of complaints to be voiced out about AIR CHINA! When i first stepped into the cabin, this weird smell striked me,and as i walked past the first seat of the so called "business class" cabin, i quickly glanced through the back of the seats - no personal TV, damn it! well as i expected, i managed to squeeze through the crowd who was taking their own sweet time trying to put their hand carry into the overhead storage, and settled down at my seat within two mins and fell asleep within the next ten.

when i woke up, the flight attendants were serving drinks. gosh just the way they streamed down the drink into the cup, at one point it splashed out and wet the pants of the guy next to me a little bit, and in general the flight attendants were rude, i swear i caught quite a few of them were rolling their eyes at their passengers. But if you are white skin, u will definately received ur special treatment. HOW PROFESSIONAL IS THAT?!

good thing is i brought my sleeping pills and had quite a good sleep throughout the whole journey. when i finally arrived in KLIA, i cant wait to get out of the gate. But as i was waiting for my baggages, this bad feeling hitted me. The crowd was getting smaller n smaller and my baggages are still nowhere in sight. yup, thats right they left both of my baggages in beijing, coz the flight arrived in beijing was an hour late and they couldnt transfer them in time b4 my next flight took off. So i had to come back to KLIA the night after, (same time, 1120pm) to reclaim my baggages. Poor Sean, Karen and b-boy (well actually b-boy just tagged along becoz karen briefly mentioned that we might go hangout in the burger king in the airport), they waited for bout two hours while i was running around to reclaim my baggages, evidently the flight arrived late again, but thank goodness I had received both of my baggages in good conditions.

the morning i took off, pooky at the bus depot, becoz we forgot his leash so we had to put him on top of a garbage can just so he wont run around crazy.

the night b4 i left.....it was pooky's birthday, he's 1 !!!! thats right, ooonneeeeee. I was gonna bake him a cake but i was too caught up with exams, only managed to pack the night b4. sorry boy, will make it up to u next year.

so instead of a cake, we gave him a big piece of raw steak!! the canadian AAA cut!

this dessert is a totaly blast!! first of all u cut the banana open then stuff as much chocolate chips n mini marshmallows as u can inside. wrap it up in tin foil n throw it into burning fire...it looks gross but it taste bloody good!!

making plans already

two nights ago as I was trying to figure out certain certain algorithm for the 100th times, I got an Msn msg from I Jean, she asked when will i arrived.

and i put those algorithms aside and started chatting (as usual).

"oh yea, I will be arriving on saturday midnight"
"ohhhh, so late, coz we r going out to celebrate mich's birthday on sat night"
"aiksss , think i cant join"

"oh sure sure, but not too late though as my curfew is 12am"

congratulations to Mich, her wedding was last September, very efficient huh, waste no time.

It feels so great that, here I am all stressed out about the crazy exams. and a fren from home just popped a msg, asking me out yum cha on sunday. I already make plans with frens even though im 10000 miles away from home.

after 3 full days of being sick, Im feeling all better today, thanks to the whiskey i had last night, yea inpite of how "sick" i was, we had the biggest party ever last night, Su Ann and how's dad n bro were in town for the weekend. besides ppl, we also had two doggie as our guests- Maggie and Hagen. not sure what kinda Hagen is but Maggie is a sheltie, she is such a princess! and pooky is crazily in love with her.

how crazy? as crazy as he remembers her name. Did a test on him this morning, as he was happily ran to the door coz he know is his park's time, i was yelling back in the corridor just to give him a goodbye kiss, but he will just never come to me!!! (yea stubborn huh? ) so finally i yelled in a high pitch voice "hey MAGGIEEEE", *clak clak clak* here he came running to me. I was so amazed!!

A phone call woke me up from my afternoon nap, still wuzzy from the cold medicine and managed to find my cellphone, it was good news from Rejoy, he got a job offer, half an hour after the interview!! So i had to find out about mine too, called the coop office, and as i expected , i didnt get the job. As dissapointed as I was, i called my travel agent to confirm my air ticket.

Not getting a job doesnt make me feel as bad, the thing is somehow she told me about the ranking and i came in as bottom two, thats pretty low! I mean i used to nail all my interviews, do they hv different expectations here? or was I too nervous, all i know was my english was fucked up, I couldnt put a proper sentance together. Maybe is not meant to be....

oh well, at least i get to spend more time in Msia and my schedule will be back in track (hopefully)...

feeling so sick right now, I dont mind being sick during final exams, but pls let me be well when im traveling. to spend 10 hours on the plane coughing is definately the last thing i need right now!

celebration of lights 06

Honestly, i think i dislike the lifestyle in vancouver, yea they hv good shopping, good food, but the ppl n more importantly THE PPL, the CROWD, the TRAFFIC, had distinguished a boundary line inspite of all the good lord reasons.

Driving around town had definately shorten my lifespan, is a pretty hectic trip, trying to squeeze everything in one day, im telling ya, i think we did 10km if not more around town yesterday. We had to cancel our dancing plan becoz our feet (esp mine!) hurted too much. Liked the fireworks, hate the crowd! i think the whole city was there, it was literally "bum to bum crawled" reminds me of merdeka day in bukit bintang except that the small asian will have to struggle through and stick their heads up to get some extra air. the best part of the trip is i managed to sneaked a 200ml bottle of vodka into my small purse and mix it in my half drank diet coke at the corner of a building, that definately made the fireworks prettier! haha...Tanya is such a cool girl, i can totally see myself having so much fun with her in near future. Hopefully things will work out fine for her.

$20 bills in my purse dissapeared so quickly and i hv only got two sourveniers down. (task no2 : buy everybody something back home with just $100), again i had failed miserably, mind me, i had only bought one item for myself on the 8th hour of the shopping trip, that was after we talked on the phone and dannsu had the best day ever in half a year! I had done pretty good inspite of all the SALE, SALE, SALE signs that had been attacking me!

Managed to get everybody back home something with exactly $100, i hope they will appreciate "roots canada" , got my mom whole bunch of dishwares and cute mugs. i know she will love them providing i dont break any of them by the time they got to her hands.

last day of class

the summer term is almost over, for some of them, this is their last day in uvic, EVER! but no such luck for me, i have one winter term to go...

isnt it weird that sometime when you planned out a so called "study schedule" and never ever follow it!? tot the whole concept is to disipline myself, but im all pumped up for the job interview and more importantly, going back to good ol pahsang.

and you wanna hear something even funnier? Im taking off to vancouver for the weekend! shopping, fireworks competition, food etc.... let me tell ya baby, first final exam is next thursday, THURSDAY! well actually the main task is to move kenny's stuff n the furnitures we loaned to them back. As of next week, Kenny will be our new roomie.

Last night, we had a pretty good time at Irish time, it was nate's last day in town, i ve almost tried all the Irish beer, had a tray of sampler, harp, kilkenny, smithwicks (something like that) and guiness stout. It was enough for me to hop around to the Irish music.

Ingredients: berries frozen yogurt, blueberries, banana, pineapple, orange juice and ice cubes.
put in a blender n crush all of them.........its really yummy and big time cool off~

another hot airless afternoon

its a hot saturday afternoon, pooky stayed home with me today instead of at the store. Its so stuffy in the house, so i ve decided to at least get a fan, instead of leaving pooky at home i took him along with me.

i went to total 4 stores to be able to finally get one,fans r almost completely sold out in this town, when i was running in and out the stores looking for a cheap fan,  poor pooky had to stay in the car, and i know he's gonna be suffering in there, thats why i only spend 2 mins in each store, and in between , when i was walking to my car, i saw this old lady was tapping my car's window, as i went closer she asked:" is this ur dog?" , after i answered, she started yapping how awful it is to be leaving a dog in the car on a day like this, i tried to explain, i was only gone for 2 mins....LOOKING FOR FAN!! but that old bitch just kept going on, and she commented that I shouldnt own a dog at all.  WTF!!? is not like i left him in the car to go shopping, i was literally running to the appliances department back and ford !!!

anyway, now we both r sharing this small 10" fan , at least it cool us off a little, esp me!

my camera mysteriously showed up!!

Last nite, as we were hanging out in the living room chatting away with Lucia, darling found our long gone camera in the box where we keep the remote controls, nail clippers or wat not.....i swear i had looked inside the box for at least twice!! maybe the thief felt bad and put it back....

interview, yay?

this is my first interview ever after applying for god know how many jobs with uvic coop website. Was kinda dissapointed when i found out bout that yesterday,   i might not be able to go back? (yea dont be so sure about urself), but the pay is really good though, 17$ an hour. and the truth is, i really want this job!!!

if i get it, that ought to change everything becoz they want someone for 8 months, that means i have to pospond my last acaedemic term to next winter, ill have to postpond wedding or have it earlier, i will be graduating late........why if we r moving to calgary ???

all these headaches, and i havent even gone for the interview yet!!! haha

woke up this morning, turned around , it was only 716am, so i went back to sleep, the next thing i know, it was 915!!! i jumped right up n started up the stoves, puffy hash browns, breakfast sausages and eggs! got a good american breakfast ready in 15 mins, pretty amazed with myself. hehe

yup, i been making breakfast for the past few days, i mean me! a so NOT morning person waking up 8 to make darling breakfast, reason being, i think im feeling a little bad for going back without him, plus he's been having instant noodles for breakfast for the past dunno how long, how bad of a wife i am?

anyway, i went to casino today just becoz is on the way to work, and guess what!! i won 80$!!! this has contributed to my trip, i ve never won so much money in my life b4!!!

I have alredy got 5 rejections out of 9, so i decided to book my ticket today. and right now, there should be 3 bookings in china airline under the name of NG/SU LEE Ms, well im trying to compare the prices, and its about 1500rm more to buy from here!!!

usually the tickets has to be issued 2 weeks after the booking but this desperate biz man in chinatown gave me the deadline of tomorrow, isnt it crazy?!

danny called and i told him i might just ffk if i got a job suddenly, but these few days i been getting butterflies in my stomach just thinking about food at klang parade, karaoke at red box and of coz my lovely pah sang home m family~~~

this morning, we woke up, n i put on my "Forza Italia" shirt that i bought a week ago, n we headed to the sticky wicket pub, we thought this early, prolly not many ppls gonna show up. but turned out, there was a huge line up infront, n most of them r France's fans!! then we bumped into pzemech, got a nice table infront of the big screen tv, few guys from school showed up later...

then we started cheering while we r having breakfast~~~

too bad i missed the over time becoz i had to go open up the shop, zidane got red card for his outrageous behaviour, i was just telling darryl last night how zidane looks like a serene n calm guy...so i totally didnt see THAT coming from him, shame on you zidane, geeez!

I just stormed out from the class becoz i got my midterm back and it was BAD BAD BAD!!!

I cant even stay in there for another second having ppl asked "hey nicole, how'd you do?" , and i feel like guy sitting next to me is teasing me, is like oh u did worse than me, HAHA!!

i know im acting very childish right now but how could i fucking made so many stupid mistakes!!! the reason i took this course coz i was told is easy, and I ve done so well in other harder classes and im expecting more in this one, but the professor is sicked, he has some kinda cancer and this dumbass TA substituted him, FUCK! that guy is useless!!!

geez im having so much anger in me right now!!!

i want my camera back!

I suspect my camera was stolen! I been having too many photoless entries and is getting really boring! geeez my favourite camera! recently we been having too many parties and now we have one candidate in mind that might ve taken the camera. (maybe one dijiridu and one buddha from our basement)

how would you feel if ur good fren steals from you? damn heartbroken right? but of coz , no proof yet.

I admit that i been having eating disorder problem, but i have to lose so much weight b4 i go back! im not going home with ppls stared at me n went like "aiyoh!! ani pui!!!" NO freaking WAY!!!

as if one game is not enough, i had to face another dissapointment this morning, as much as i wanted brazil to win, but they just didnt give it in this match, maybe they were intimidated by france becoz of world cup 98? but honestly Frace had a really good game, strong defence, plus zidane excellent foot work and henry's perfect goal. they deserved this.

so i was downtown shopping with wei n lynn, just tot i will go buy a brazil jersey after they beat France, but now, save money...those jersey will prolly go half off now. oh well! so i passed by roots, and i saw they were having sales for this world cup T-shirt, really cute! different countries, i was standing there for the longest time, who should i support in the semi-final and final leh?

(but trust me, i almost bought the argentina one)

anyway, i picked Italy. Although after watching today's game, Frace stand a good chance to win , (unless the ref favourites germany again in the final.)
but i simply cant support germany or france becoz they sent my favourites teams home!
