last day of class

the summer term is almost over, for some of them, this is their last day in uvic, EVER! but no such luck for me, i have one winter term to go...

isnt it weird that sometime when you planned out a so called "study schedule" and never ever follow it!? tot the whole concept is to disipline myself, but im all pumped up for the job interview and more importantly, going back to good ol pahsang.

and you wanna hear something even funnier? Im taking off to vancouver for the weekend! shopping, fireworks competition, food etc.... let me tell ya baby, first final exam is next thursday, THURSDAY! well actually the main task is to move kenny's stuff n the furnitures we loaned to them back. As of next week, Kenny will be our new roomie.

Last night, we had a pretty good time at Irish time, it was nate's last day in town, i ve almost tried all the Irish beer, had a tray of sampler, harp, kilkenny, smithwicks (something like that) and guiness stout. It was enough for me to hop around to the Irish music.

Ingredients: berries frozen yogurt, blueberries, banana, pineapple, orange juice and ice cubes.
put in a blender n crush all of them.........its really yummy and big time cool off~

another hot airless afternoon

its a hot saturday afternoon, pooky stayed home with me today instead of at the store. Its so stuffy in the house, so i ve decided to at least get a fan, instead of leaving pooky at home i took him along with me.

i went to total 4 stores to be able to finally get one,fans r almost completely sold out in this town, when i was running in and out the stores looking for a cheap fan,  poor pooky had to stay in the car, and i know he's gonna be suffering in there, thats why i only spend 2 mins in each store, and in between , when i was walking to my car, i saw this old lady was tapping my car's window, as i went closer she asked:" is this ur dog?" , after i answered, she started yapping how awful it is to be leaving a dog in the car on a day like this, i tried to explain, i was only gone for 2 mins....LOOKING FOR FAN!! but that old bitch just kept going on, and she commented that I shouldnt own a dog at all.  WTF!!? is not like i left him in the car to go shopping, i was literally running to the appliances department back and ford !!!

anyway, now we both r sharing this small 10" fan , at least it cool us off a little, esp me!

my camera mysteriously showed up!!

Last nite, as we were hanging out in the living room chatting away with Lucia, darling found our long gone camera in the box where we keep the remote controls, nail clippers or wat not.....i swear i had looked inside the box for at least twice!! maybe the thief felt bad and put it back....

interview, yay?

this is my first interview ever after applying for god know how many jobs with uvic coop website. Was kinda dissapointed when i found out bout that yesterday,   i might not be able to go back? (yea dont be so sure about urself), but the pay is really good though, 17$ an hour. and the truth is, i really want this job!!!

if i get it, that ought to change everything becoz they want someone for 8 months, that means i have to pospond my last acaedemic term to next winter, ill have to postpond wedding or have it earlier, i will be graduating late........why if we r moving to calgary ???

all these headaches, and i havent even gone for the interview yet!!! haha

woke up this morning, turned around , it was only 716am, so i went back to sleep, the next thing i know, it was 915!!! i jumped right up n started up the stoves, puffy hash browns, breakfast sausages and eggs! got a good american breakfast ready in 15 mins, pretty amazed with myself. hehe

yup, i been making breakfast for the past few days, i mean me! a so NOT morning person waking up 8 to make darling breakfast, reason being, i think im feeling a little bad for going back without him, plus he's been having instant noodles for breakfast for the past dunno how long, how bad of a wife i am?

anyway, i went to casino today just becoz is on the way to work, and guess what!! i won 80$!!! this has contributed to my trip, i ve never won so much money in my life b4!!!

this morning, we woke up, n i put on my "Forza Italia" shirt that i bought a week ago, n we headed to the sticky wicket pub, we thought this early, prolly not many ppls gonna show up. but turned out, there was a huge line up infront, n most of them r France's fans!! then we bumped into pzemech, got a nice table infront of the big screen tv, few guys from school showed up later...

then we started cheering while we r having breakfast~~~

too bad i missed the over time becoz i had to go open up the shop, zidane got red card for his outrageous behaviour, i was just telling darryl last night how zidane looks like a serene n calm guy...so i totally didnt see THAT coming from him, shame on you zidane, geeez!

I just stormed out from the class becoz i got my midterm back and it was BAD BAD BAD!!!

I cant even stay in there for another second having ppl asked "hey nicole, how'd you do?" , and i feel like guy sitting next to me is teasing me, is like oh u did worse than me, HAHA!!

i know im acting very childish right now but how could i fucking made so many stupid mistakes!!! the reason i took this course coz i was told is easy, and I ve done so well in other harder classes and im expecting more in this one, but the professor is sicked, he has some kinda cancer and this dumbass TA substituted him, FUCK! that guy is useless!!!

I suspect my camera was stolen! I been having too many photoless entries and is getting really boring! geeez my favourite camera! recently we been having too many parties and now we have one candidate in mind that might ve taken the camera. (maybe one dijiridu and one buddha from our basement)

beach day

woke up 5am yesterday morning coz i had a text in the afternoon, after the test, feeling all shitty (as usual) , harun suggested we go to the campus pub n play pool, sure why not, i joined them for one round.

being in this diet is seriously inconvinient, harun bought a jar of coke in the pub and i didnt touch it becoz it wasnt diet!!!!

well anyway, i ve lost about 4lbs though! so thats good, instead of studying for tomorrow's mid term(which i damn should). I went to the beach. so we blew up our dingies and headed elk lake,well by the time we reached there it was like 6pm, but the sun still out, water still warm. So we hopped in to our dingies and went out, poor pooky was traumatized!!! becoz in the middle of the lake, we all jumped in n throw pooky in too, he was shaking and his heart beats must be like 10000 times/min. I had never seen him that horrified b4, i guess he didnt like the water AT ALL!

so i brought him back to the beach , let him chase the ducks , run around or watever, while i sleep on the beach. and then i was interrupted by this park authority saying that theres no dogs allowed on the beach! WTF!! wat about those ducks? poor pooky had to stay in the van on a beach day...

so once again, did no 407 study. lazy lazy me~ but hey! its a beach day!

managed to catch the last 20 minutes of Italy VS Aus today, poor aussies, they played so well and all the effort gone to waste when Italy scored a last minute penalty, i mean, literally LAST MINUTE( 95min!)

got a mid term today, wasnt so good, after the test, as i dragged myself into the Engineering Lab Wing, i saw whole bunch of ppls gathering around the TV, HEY the game is not finished yet! once again, i managed to catch the 5 penalties shots. boo to Switzerland...hehe damn mean ar me.

called home last night, and i was bumped to hear that grandma thinks i only call her when i need something, thats so not true! i had failed to reach her the past 4 times i called, she was the one always not home!! Sometime i think she likes to pick on me , ever since young.

mom gave me this no carb recipe which i started today, ur suppose to lose up to 3KG in a week, which mean i have to eat the same meal over and over again for a week. We'll see how the results turned out. I think my cousin lost quite abit of weight with this no carb diet, isnt it san?

quarter life crisis

notice that i havent been updating as much as i used to. but the truth is, i ve got tonnes of pictures to be posted and yet have no way to upload them.

well anyway, im looking for a job for fall right now, as much as i would love to do it actively, i just simply cant! becoz of the limitation posts in victoria. worst of all, they r all software!! remember sometime ago someoneS once said to me about being tight down too young? this is what i have to compensate, if im willing to move, i hv no doubt about getting a job! to Ontario, to Vancouver, to Ottawa. BUT! what about my family?

spoke to darling few days ago, we have to seriously be considering of moving to another province - Alberta. is better for both of our career anyway.

a lil introduction about Alberta,
1)ppl there r rich becoz of the oil - thats good for darling's biz.
2)we paid only 7% sales tax.
3)Big cities like edmonton and calgary, lotsa jobs opportunities - thats for me!
4)the biggest shopping mall in canada - west edmonton mall!

but the downside is, during winter, is like -30degree and 20feet of snow.

i dont think i can stay here any longer, there is absolutely no opportunity for me, unless i do what i dislike.

oh well, we ll see, might take a trip end of summer
