My virgin pumpkin

I carved my first pumpkin ever yesterday! and is not as hard as I thought, but i didnt do a very good job, as you could still see the dark marker line - I got so excited that i signed up for pumpkin carving contest at work!


hmm...hmmm what am i going to carve!? gotto be something unique....what should it be, what should it be......


I know halloween is during the fall for a reason, and whats the story behind jack o lantern? and and..... the color of orange isnt scary!? I dont get it.......

Yesterday was Jazmin's birthday, and she's only 22!!! we were going to do the corn maze carnival, they said the haunted house is pretty scary, apparently there are few exits throughout the way - some of you might not be able to take it. but anyway it got cancel, and we went to boston pizza to have some appies and beer.

We walked to Boston Pizza to celebrate Jazz's birthday, it was freeeezing cold outside and I only have a thin layer of jacket, got weather here is sooo weird, is like a 10 degrees temp drop overnight, so damn unpredictable!

I must admit, this is the first girls night i have - thanks to the engr program, I been mostly surrounded by the macho men. But its nice for a change - we had chocolate fondue, nachos, cheese and crackers with wine........


although i have to say the highlight of the night (besides the wine) - is the girl talk! which you duwanna know....... :P

It was also Candyce birthday - she sure enjoyed the cake, mmmmmm

On Monday - I was so bored bored bored that I could almost die....

Tuesday - There were few meetings and things to do, not too bad.

Wednesday - Received new meters from Production and busy with wiring up and calibrating them the whole day

Thursday - Super CRAZILY busy and I LOVE IT!!! doesnt matter if i leave the office late and nobody was around.

I feel content, I feel happy, I feel satisfied.

Although today I almost got myself electrocuted trying to unscrew/tighten the screws of live wires with 24A passing through them. Not only ONCE but TWICE!! this is dangerous, I gotto learn to turn the machine off b4 touching anything.

Things are looking better and better now at work, I cant wait to fully accelerate ( oh well, wait till i busy until cannot breath and stay tune for my complains then :P)

My Best friend - Kelly with great talent in musics has her little own radio show now!!!

Cant quite understand the language in the website above but I do recognize her chubby cheeky bandit face though! She struggled through in her career - everyone kept telling her being in industry this is not going to bring her anywhere. But she kept her strong faith in herself and her musics. Of coz supports from her family.

She is spreading her arts in London now. And i been listening to her podcasts at work.

Thank you kelly for such wonderful collections - will never get bored even though i had played the beatles cover show over and over again!! Miss you babe!

weekend

This weekend, I participated into another charity event - Canary Derby for cancer foundation . well although i was only a volunteer in the tent but who cares!! boy this feel great!

Alot of them bring dogs and kids - makes me feel like having babies too :)

Schneider "moving coffin" was the green one on the right - thanks to our mech Team, fastest they can go is 39Km/hr.

So, we got the first place! yay!

This event wasnt as intense as the 24 hr relay, we only raised 100k but 24hr relay was half a million!

Later of the day - we went to have a few drinks at peacocks to celebrate Candyce's graduation day.

And I had found my favourite martini - geisha , it is soooooooo tasty!!!

I did it again! it was suppose to be a touch up but i ended up re-did the whole hair - i would like to say is a different color but look at the next picture...

This is taken 3 months ago when i first got my first highlights, dont they look very similar? but i picked out different color i swear!

I got orange, purple-red, and brown in this new one .......you know whats more ironic? i was wearing the same jacket in those two photos! 3 months ago and yesterdy! creepy~~

our 9th anniversary - TreeGo Obstacle course

Today is our 9th year anniversary - zeng soh wai cheong cheong kao kao :)

Thats right, 9 years baby!

To celebrate that, I thought of giving him a surprise by bringing him to this obstacle course in south Nanaimo, I know anniversary is a two peoples thing, but if you gonna go on this obstacle course, what fun is it if t was just the two of us? so i recruited 12 of us! Drove up north in 3 cars!

as the cute instructor helped me to strap on my harnest, I smelled booze, so i said out loud :"*gasp* you had beers didnt you!"

and he looked panic :

" well it was last night but you cant tell my boss or else im fired!"

me:"*ting!* well i dunno, it depends.....*evil grin*"

him:"well how much do you want?"

he was actually serious!!! ahha

me:" well just make sure you return us all alive, and i smell some tequilla in that backpack, r u gonna share some?"

Then we tried out a little demo course for kids just to get the hang of it

Me on the go, i think we started from 10feet and gradually increased up to 60feet!!!!

There are tonnes of challenging swing bridge and zip line was super fun!



This is another challenging one, you swing across like spider man and hop on to the net!

Is kinda blurry here, but if you enlarge it, is actually picture of wei slipped and fell, he was then sitting on the swing and gasped for a while b4 he climbed up again! this was the most challenging and scariest part to me, my hands and legs were actually shaking after i gone through this
there were 12 of us and only 7 completed the full course, some stopped way early coz of high issue, some stopped right at the end coz their hands really sore.

Then we chilled out by the bungy jump place to catch some action and had lunch!

will you do bungy jump? i kept asking myself then, if there were two of us maybe I will..

I packed some simple snack for everybody, we were starving!

Few days ago, a package came in my mail for me, it was a book sent from Kelly. It was so good and told to passed on by Danny. i will try to finish it within 2 weeks, if im not super super busy or tired after work. Have you read this ?



When I was on my way to attend my last final exam session, I heard this news on the radio -



Apparently, a man with big yellow ice hockey jersey and new york yankees baseball cap robbed the bank new my University. According to one of the bank teller, this bank robber is one of the environment protectors too, coz afer he robbed the bank, he crossed the street and stayed in one of the bus stop waiting for bus number 27 .





As the police approached and the teller ran out of the bank and pointed to the man across the street to the Police officer while this "Yankees crossed canucks" fan looking down shelbourne street "shoo"ing for bus 27 like "COME ON!!!!!!"





Maybe this guy is a hippy who is so sick of the pollusion in the air and US who are trashing the earth! haha but some how he got away by running towards the woods.

This morning, Naoki left Canada for good back to his motherland, Nihon Japan.





really sad, this happen EVERYYEAR!!! sent old frens off and meet more new friends, peoples come and go so often that i think im becoming immune to the pain of saying good bye. Sighhhh...I will be so lonely(say i dont have my family here) if I keep meeting peoples/friends like these.

Went to Casino yesterday (special requested by Naoki) - I want this CX-9, but the slot machines wont let me - not to mention the 40bucks we lost on the table...not a good day - I quited!

A blood vessel in my eyes popped (for no reason), it hurts and ppl avoided me coz they think i have pink eyes - oh come on! Pink eye would ve infected my whole eye not just a corner..

How m I gonna go to work tomorrow like that?
