so, im a student, and i work about 8 hrs a week, started submit my tax last year, obviously i didnt make enough to be paying taxes. but on top of that, government had sent me a 75$ cheque! whenever ppl received cheques from governemnt, it was suppose to be some kinda GST refunds, but hey! i paid no tax and i got "refunds" tat was kinda nice...darling got like 2000$ though (maybe he should buy me a new laptop with that money huh? hehe)

this country is a tax maniac! in bc, u pay 14% tax on everything u buy, besides the essential stuff, like grocery. for example, no tax for milk, thats something u need. but 7% on flavoured milk, suppose u dont need the flavour, they r just luxuries?

after the "i almost run my dog over" incident, today as i brought pooky to chinatown for grocery, but we didnt hv his leash so we just a regular string, on the way there, by a busy junction, he was pulling so hard that the string snapped, and he was running towards the traffic!!! few cars stopped and i was yelling like a mad woman "POOKY!!! POOOKY!!!! OHHH POOOKY!!!" i must ve scared him and he turned around.... pheeeeeeeeeeeew!

anyway we wanted to do something tonight, so we decided to have hotpot over bbq due to my toothache.

since we r doing it, i decided to make yong tau fu in hotpot style...(and this entry is dedicated to you amy, revenge time!!! ngek! ngek! ngek)

stunned morning

This morning, im talking about 4 in the morning, my toothache woke me up, took some pain killer n lotsa water, then i managed to go back to sleep.

is my wisdom tooth, and i refused to see a dentist coz it ll be darn expensive as dental is not part of our medical plan. Ill just keep popping those pain killer and hopefully it will go away...

something happened today that made me really stunned! im talking about "running through red light" kinda stunned , (*thank god there wasnt any pedestrian that tat time). ok what happened was: as i back up my car from my drive way, Kenny came running to me and stopped me, i came down and there was this woman yelling at the end of the street,pooky was there sniffing her dog,

" you were this close (show small gap between thumb and index finger) to running your dog over!!why do u guys let your dog lose like that!?!?"

pooky ran right behind the van as i was backing up when he saw the woman's dog.
boy she was upset, and i was just shocked right there!! just imagine if i did run pooky over n killed him, geeez i dont even wanna imagine....this bothered me the whole morning...

i think im a horrible horrible user in general, my baby laptop's life span is only a year, how horrible could i be? called LD to check on it and they told me that becoz i spilled sweet stuff on it, and sugar conduct electric and my motherboard is fried!! it will cost 1k to fix it. I might as well get a new one..it felt as though a knife is stabbed into my heart, i feel like crying now..

and two days ago while i was having bbq, i checked my cell phone msg, quiksilver called!! there were spot open for me,i was so happy n telling everybody..when i called today she told me that msg was last week, she must ve left it when i went camping, so the position is filled already.

honestly, how much more bad luck i could get??

8th anniversary

today is our 8th anniversary, yup! believe it or not... i hope we hv 80 more to go but i'll probably gonna die b4 tat hehe gues wat darling got me for my present

this afternoon, as i rushed into the classroom (once again i was late), i felt this sad vibe from the room. as i settled myself besides lynn, she whispered in my ear: " he has got cancer so he cant teach anymore..."

as of next week, Dr Lu is going to be under his treatment, he ll be in and out the hospital...god , why do u do this to such a good teacher!?

life is really a funny thing, u can never know whats coming to u, last night we rented this movie, Last holiday by Queen Latifah, in the movie,she played this single woman who's very dicipline when it comes to her life, esp financially. One day she was told she has only 3 more weeks to live, so she decided to live life to the fullest b4 she die....

honestly, life is too short... dont be afraid to dream, and just do whatever the heck you want! dont bother about how other ppl look at u, ur living for urself, so be nice to yourself.

Happy mother's day

there are lotsa pictures screaming to be posted, but due to the laptop-orange vodka incident. it has to be pospond becoz i lost my uploading cable.

anyway, happy mother's day to the mamas ,except those who dumped their babies in the dumpster! im serious! there was just one case in vancouver, dead baby found in dumpster, a half decayed baby!! SICK!

ok why m i talking about decayed baby on mother's day? anyway..looking at others blogsite, family pictures for mother's day celebration were posted all over, make me kinda envy, i wish i can be with mom today,anyway i called n wish her apparently there wasnt any special celebration for her, then she started blabbing away about sending my youngest bro here for University after high school, SURE! but thats like 6 or 7 years from now...

going camping tomorrow, nop is not holiday but im giving myself 3 days by skipping schools. it is only fair ok!

came home pretty late last night, made dinner and just when we finally sat down n enjoy our movie with curry chicken rice, the phone rang.

price's alarm called and apparently the alarm got triggered with some kinda broken glass sound, so we rushed down to the store right away and the front window glasses got broken (just a hole thought), fortunately nothing was taken. waited for the cops for about 45mins and they seemed to think someone just released their anger by kicking the bottom glass really hard!

i didnt think that he will go thru all that hassle just to take something thats worth 100$.

so we covered it up with plywood n cardboard and this morning , found out that insurance werent gonna pay full amount for that, damn all this insurance warranty shit! im so sick of them, is almost like a scam!! but our landlord is gonna pay full amount for that. so thats good.

bad things had been happening around us, biz is dead, this happened, laptops, arg! when is all this gonna stop? im gonna buy a waving cat n put infront of the store to "wave" more sales and we both should take bath with lok yau yip to wash away all the "suiness"

yup, it was my hard drive! they found orange sticky stain on it and warranty does not cover water residue!

so 300 bucks FUCK FUCK FUCK! very slim chance they gonna retrieve my files.

for that amounth of money, we could hv get our ideal tent that we been fighting thru n forth , and decided not to get it in the end.

i feel like going to casino now n throw 300 on the table n win it back, if i only knew i will win for sure...

and today i received my proactiv package, i forgot to terminate my membership and now they send me the 3 steps every 6 months n automatic charge into my visa, theres still alot left from the old ones!! there goes another 80$

first attempt to camp

ok guess what! MEC (mountain equipment co-op) around the corner had officially opened for biz last saturday, darling has been drooling and waiting for them...so immediately he rushed inside the store and spent more than an hour there, imagine!!! more than one hour for shopping!! Darryl LIU WOHH!!! unbelievable...

anyway he came back the store hugging two huge bags, yup thats our new sleeping bags!! weeeheeeeee!! i ve camped twice in my entire life, and that was from last year. and everytime i run to the car in the middle of the nite n crank up the heat becoz of the lousy sleeping bags we borrowed from neighbour. So now we got one that will supposingly can tahan up till -7 degree!!

so we came back n eager to try out, coz if its not warm enough we ll go get the -12degree! the only way is to camp at the back yard, but damn sui, it was raining on saturday evening, so we tot wat the hell! even better, colder weather right? so we setted up tent and brought the pillows, vodka+7-up n even my laptop inside to watch "simple life interns" , mana tahu abit of water got into the tent, actually no big deal, but i made it into big deal and i spilled the vodka all over my laptoP!!!!!!!

i mean : ARGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!

and i couldnt turn it on anymore... thank god i got my pentium 2 desktop teng zu dong. sent it to the workshop and still under warranty but u know those thing can be really tricky!

for example, darling's big ass toshiba laptop's power adaptor got losen, all u need to do is solder it back to the motherboard, but no! they cant do that and the only way is to change the entire motherboard, and becoz this is accident so no warranty n cost bloody 800$!!! seriosly man, wat the fuck! even though he had yelled n yelled at diff department for many times, they still come out with the conclusion: NO!

so if i let them know that i spilled vodka all over mine n caused the damage, chances r pretty slim too, oh gosh, my ANTMs, my pictures! pooky's cute pictures!! pls don erase my hard drive...

Summer classes started, not bad for the first week as weather has been more than 20 degree everyday.

There was a POP quiz in class today, just to test our knowledge and how much have we forgotten of what we learned one year ago.

there were 8 questions and i got 7 of them right!? frens were impressed, some were scared,how did i come out that strong? but wat they dunno is, they took this course last year but i just had my final exam last week. of coz is still fresh! ngek ngek!

walked around town today to hunt for new shade, and QUIKSILVER is opened!!!! i went in and check out the stuff, OMG is like heaven!! flip flops were so cute, bags were cuteeeeeee gosh gosh gosh, i realised i needed more money, so i asked for a job.

pls pray for me, i really wish i could get this job! to dress up like surfer chick n sell ppls board shorts n bikini, hell ya!
