Just when I tot Im done with school - BUT NOOOOO!!! all I did at work today was revising and studying more about 3 phase power, gosh! I seriously wish i had longer break.

but like Bill said to a collegue last Friday

" well I put her right back to work coz she already had her holiday in Mexico"

Of coz he was kidding but why did I agree to start so soon? Im already feeling unmotivated.

Matt and the guys popped by my office during lunch time and asked

"hey Nicole, u gonna stick around or u gonna come hv lunch with the big boys?"

of coz I went with them! I was bored as hell!! Fortunately I bonded with my team mates surprisngly fast and well! and they are real fun! not as "nerdy" as they look :P

We came across this topic about Tsunami coz they were wondering if Malaysia got hitted pretty bad, and everyone tot it was a year or two years ago. but hey baby, is 2004, that makes it almost well i wouldnt say 3 years but two and a half!! All of us were like "wow....."

And I tot i will go back time to when Tsunami hitted - what was I doing and what was on my mind.... and I found out that I had quite a few writing in Chinese and it impressed me, I was pretty good ! tell me to write it now, i dont think i can. Really rusty. I should practice more - Im so thankful that my parent sent me to chinese school and im blessed with tiny bit of knowledge in my heritage.

Once again , i was awake by the dog's barking, in my mind was like "im soooooooo gonna smack him good" - and I did!!!

This was different, he was barking n jumping up and down at the door as though he was trying to open the door himself, so i went out and the dogs rushed out right away - there he is , I saw Skylotte - a fren's dog who lives just 2 blocks away after passing one heck of heavy traffic junction.

It puzzled me coz that fren is currently away in europe right now, so i tot maybe the dog sitter walked her...but no she was all by herself!!

So i took her in and they were playing in the yard while I took shower n get changed, and then again, i heard Pooky barking again, so i rushed out from the bathroom in my bath robe and saw Ann-Marie (the dog sitter), she was like thats my dog, so i introduced myself n said that im frens of Krysta ( Skylotte's owner) .

Ann-Marie was biking and he didnt bring her leash so i promised to drive Skylotte back after I took them the park. After making sure Ann-Marie latched and secured the yard door, I went inside n get changed. Came out again and found the gate was opened - both Lex and Pooky were outside and Skylotte was nowhere in sight. I got panic and drove around to look for her. Drove to their place but no one was home, after half an hour, i couldnt find the dog and went down to the store n tried calling them the whole day.

Finally at 6pm , someone answered the phone - Skylotte got hitted by a car as soon as he ran out, apparently he got hitted at the corner of my house , it must ve happened right after he dashed out. Coz as soon as I came out there was no sight of accident.

Rushed to the vet hospital to see her but they wouldnt let us or reveal any information about her coz we are not authorized, which seriously ticked me off! WHAT THE HELL ARE WE GONNA DO WITH THAT PIECE OF INFORMATION LIKE "she's stable" , or "she's not gonna live"????? are we gonna fucking kidnap her with that information? I dont freaking understand!!!!


Finally after trying and trying she finally revealed that she's gonna be fine. So we went home and I felt so bad, it is my fault, I took the responsibility over and promised to send her home...

hope she's gonna be ok, so sorry skylotte, if anything happen to you, i will never forgive myself...

First day

Is 15 mins from 5pm and I finally have the chance to open up a 4"X 4" window to write this entry - yes thats how addictive I AM!!

First day of work, and its waaaay different than the last work term with software, the project im in is not starting till mid May, So i have plenty of time to get ramped up instead of being sunk into this big project like the previous one, where i pretty much started testing on my third day. And I will be involved in Filters project, which is my favourite (and what im sort of specialized on besides telecomm), I cant wait to get some hands on experience on those 5000$ - meters

The one thing that got me soooooooo exicted is, Im getting this 19" brand new samsung LCD flat widescreen monitor, is even nicer than the one that my Team leader- Bill is using. (which by the way he told me not to brag about it too much coz alot of my team members are still using those giant monsters.

When the IT guy came in with my tower, keyboard and mouse, and he had to run downstairs to get the monitor, man I was praying for one of these babies, coz i saw some of them in the office have them. As soon as he came in effortless carrying a box that looks like a suitcase in his right hand, in my heart was like YAYYYY~~~Brand new out of the box toO!!

Alright on and all, Im one of the two girls in Embedded Test team which total 15 or more peoples. Everybody is fun, casual and helpful. New monitor, new job, new start for me!

Another thing made my day (besides the 19") is Bill pulled out the year plan for the team and he already had a project planned out for me in October, guess im staying either as a fulltime or contractor(which i hope not and unlikely) after this 4 months work term. *finger crossed*

Few days ago, a package came in my mail for me, it was a book sent from Kelly. It was so good and told to passed on by Danny. i will try to finish it within 2 weeks, if im not super super busy or tired after work. Have you read this ?



When I was on my way to attend my last final exam session, I heard this news on the radio -



Apparently, a man with big yellow ice hockey jersey and new york yankees baseball cap robbed the bank new my University. According to one of the bank teller, this bank robber is one of the environment protectors too, coz afer he robbed the bank, he crossed the street and stayed in one of the bus stop waiting for bus number 27 .





As the police approached and the teller ran out of the bank and pointed to the man across the street to the Police officer while this "Yankees crossed canucks" fan looking down shelbourne street "shoo"ing for bus 27 like "COME ON!!!!!!"





Maybe this guy is a hippy who is so sick of the pollusion in the air and US who are trashing the earth! haha but some how he got away by running towards the woods.

really sad, this happen EVERYYEAR!!! sent old frens off and meet more new friends, peoples come and go so often that i think im becoming immune to the pain of saying good bye. Sighhhh...I will be so lonely(say i dont have my family here) if I keep meeting peoples/friends like these.

Went to Casino yesterday (special requested by Naoki) - I want this CX-9, but the slot machines wont let me - not to mention the 40bucks we lost on the table...not a good day - I quited!

A blood vessel in my eyes popped (for no reason), it hurts and ppl avoided me coz they think i have pink eyes - oh come on! Pink eye would ve infected my whole eye not just a corner..

Im not sure if this is true, but according to that movie - In Africa, men adore chubby women, the bigger they are, the more attractive the men will find them. If a beauty propaganda started off like this, there wouldnt be any of those eating disorders in this world (aneroxia or bulimic)- there will be none of those cases where supermodel starved to dead!!

but come to think about it, if that was the case, wouldnt there be more ppls(esp girls) suffering from disease that caused by obesity? ( heart attack, high blood pressure, stroke, etc...)

These two days, I ve been busy with running between these two places : project site and school lab.

is 430 in the morning and i was awake by pooky's barking, GREAT! now i cant sleep~

I ve been doing blog hopping alot these days and just minutes ago, I came across this blog, mainly this guy Andrew Ho who brought to my attention, he basically claimed that peoples who decided to keep an "online Journal" as - " talking cock of their daily life" and that will bring you two average readers a day.

Honestly, who cares about how many readers you get a day you get? it seems like blogging had served many different purposes from just keeping an online journal (with the advantage of posting pictures and keeping a better record), I know inspired by Kennysia or if you like xiaxue (whatever makes you happy) many peoples had been putting effort into their blogs and trying to serve "the other" purpose of blogging - being famous.

Initially I started a blog just to keep my friends and family updated about life in Canada since i am half a globe away, and many of my close friends hardly visit here but thats ok! since my life is getting better compare to two years ago when i will call it my "great depression era" had passed- theres nothing about me that they should worry about. But I do know my sisters do read it daily and perhaps update my mom once in a while things that i do not share with them through the phone.

So now does that mean me , if you must call it "talking cock of my daily life" doesnt serve a better idea? or would u say im just another dumb ones? Honestly I am thoroughly offended !! I once had a friend commented " being in school is so nice, you guys have so much free time to do this kinda thing" well, i dont blame her coz she's super busy and making a big fortune! Maybe keeping a nice condo and a nice sport car means alot more to her.

you work and work and work ur ass off, and come home to a spotless clean condo filled with expensive furnitures from Ikea (or some other designers), they are so clean not because you were rich enough to hire a cleaner, but coz nobody hardly touch it or spend enough time at home to contaminate them, or you are one of those who transform your stress into a physical labour energy and started cleaning after a tiring day at work!? who knows, like I said whatever makes you happy right?

Guess what Im trying to say here is everybody has a way or has right to choose their way of living their lives. But once in a while, nop i should say quite often there are just these peoples like to stick his/her nose into other's business! fair enough.....AGAIN, whatever makes you happy!

mean while, here is the first website i ever created! thanks to dreamweaver, it was actually pretty easy. And Dr Sima has granted us all A+ for our "Speech activated Appliances" Hoooray to that! The results is not so great for speakers outside of database, guess that can be improved with building a larger database, yes most definately to aim for 99% accuracy.

Did not win any award coz i guess it doesnt contribute much to the environment or society, infact it will just make us even more lazy! Instead of walking to the light switch, u can just come home and sit on ur couch shouting "ON", apparently we, human are getting too much exercise these days!

I failed a challenge miserably

sadly I quited right about after i took those pictures...the hike was super tough, i swear is like 45 degree all the way up! and i was warned it only get tougher, I threw up when i was going down by myself(with Pooky's company) while the boys continued their journey up - trying to break their record of getting up there in 35 mins.

Like how was I suppose to hike up to this madness almost 90degrees , thats almost like rock climbing!

Im loving mother nature more and more and thus that will link to me loving this little boring town - Victoria more and more, I used to complain about this place, and kept pestering darling to move to Vancouver, a bigger and so called more happening city! it took me a long along time, almost two years to get used to it. I mean you could literally taste the difference in the air once u step out of the ferry.

You can go to the beach with your dogs, lotsa nice hiking trails around town and ohhh i cant wait for the summer camp! gonna go cliff diving at sooke poth holes

I was an asshole today, I saw a hot girl with extremely short skirt walking on the street, so i rolled down the window and put in my borat accent "very nice, how much?" then she heard it and i got nervous, so i rolled up the win very quickly and without realise the pooky' head was out the window, poor dog got his head trapped by the powerful auto window and he was yelping and yelping, i felt so bad! then instantly there was red light and that girl actually walked pass us , gosh i didnt even dare to look out !!! yup i was the biggest asshole!
