last strike

rainy day, my sleep was great after a beer n chocolate 3 in the morning..

went around freaking town to look for breakfast place, long line up at floyd's so nate suggested blue fox cafe which i been wanting to go all this while (coz theres always a long line up, plain kiasuness), tak jadi juga coz of i had to start my day as soon as possible!

so we ended up at honey bun's, so much hassle for a breakfast on sunday...

my pink warm socks, christmas present from kelly two years ago(she figured bout my bimboness, and im loving these! haha)
wat do u mean gross?! is freshed in the morning!

very effective today, spent half effort than yesterday and learnt twice as much!! thanks to the pals and sima.

but frankly, i dont care about this anymore and definately relaxes me to think that way , like ALOT!

Last nite , I finally tried out the asam laksa rempah packet that was given to me sometime ago when sue ann mentioned bout hometown food...

Just added a can of tuna instead of sardine , fwaaaahhh, tasted pretty damn good!!

My biggest craving is solved!!

i knew the careless me would let this happen, and it finally did today!!!

i left 350 class without my laptop, found out that i was empty handed ONE HOUR LATER...gosh almost cry as i was running around the campus like a mad woman searching for my baby, was plesantly surprised to spot it lying besides the chair in the classroom!! (mind you, there were quite a few ppls in the class) gosh...i might hv no luck for 649 but today is definately my lucky day, it must be the good deed i had done :)

going to a close relative's for dinner, but the dinner wasnt that great, so when the cook seeked for opinion bout her cooking...

A told her the truth, with advices how to improve.

B is being polite, afraid of hurting cook�s feeling, and told her dinner was great!

Which one would u be? I used to be type B , but slowly im transforming to the other..*shrug!*

Anyway, It was yong's graduation day tonite, it was the first time ever I attended any,wahhhhhhhhh, how I wish my turn will be here soon.. I mean seriously, I been in university since 2000, well yea I worked here and there but never been really exposed to the real working world�and im 24!!!

This is quite unacceptable�.but oh well! Those who r working out there always tell me how they wish to be in school guess is just what u don hv eh?

Got couple bottles of wine, kinda goes well with the Italian I made tonite�mmmm~ and blues brothers on the side while the fire place is going.

gloomy, messy, windy but productive

such a gloomy , messy day! big ass dry leaves were lying n flying all around due to the strong wind...city hall must be kelam kabut today, good for the "blowers", im sure they got some extra hours..

During class change early in the morning, the field was full with ppls n all silent apart from the crunch of our feet in the golden dry leaves. *crutch! crutch! crutch!* it was quite something :)

Anyway, is been quite a productive day, got most part of the project done, and we r in ok shape for the lab, but….dunno about midterm next Monday. This is the one everyone worries the most! put some hope on the midterm outline he went through today, as usual, ended up with big displeasure, Come on sima! “just say it!” couldn’t possibly dig anything out of him…but good try pals.

Argggg….gonna try on the assignment I just found out is due tomorrow…how pathetic…….

Oh yeah! Im loving Loreal’s double extension waterproof mascara, make ur lashes 2 times longer is one thing, plus its reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally waterproof….kinda running low though….i hope is available here.

damn,reading ss blog today reminded me of the dusty harry potter book has been sitting on my bedside table covered with cobweb, nono, not the half blood prince but all the way back then - philosopher's stone!! i started reading it after the released of the latest one, reasons being...

1. it seemed to feel cool for alil while to read potter( come on! is a trend!)
2. trying to develope this habit to improve my english writting skill, (errmm, come to think about it, maybe pornography will be a good start instead of potter)
3. it might be a good company while waiting for bus instead of biting my finger nails, kinda running out!

my english disaster

everyone else is busy n panic with midterm tomorrow which i dont hv. gonna do the course next fall, is that a really tough course or the teacher sucks?

i was making fun of them and someone striked me, next term im gonna be doing that all alone...that kinda worries me, n made me realised that im such a "dependent", seriously and thats not good!

my trasnfer report finally passed after re-writting for the second time,(pheeeew!) both of my report markers commented bout my writting, particularly english usage. which really bugs me when it comes to technical writting....i have an english midterm tomorrow which worth any other assignments.

wat the hell was i thinking taking english distance? now i would much prefer to attend classes, actually hv someone there to guide for the amount of fees i paid. Once again distance education is a bad bad idea!!

if I have one term off, what would I do?

1. take proper "University Writting"
2. Learn C++ , matlab, and html hopefully...

of all the shit i mentioned earlier in this entry, and im not doing anything with my english midterm later besides borrowed a big ass dictionary frm the library, almost like, is ok to fail it..haha. but seriously, this course is tough and i dunno where to begin. maybe reading harry potter will help alittle bit, but two hours sleep definately wont, can imagine myself taking up all the time flipping my dictionary n sweat my ass off!

we did the craziest thing just now, after a long chat for about two hours, (which is really rare), he downloaded whole bunch of "The blues brothers" and we were shaking and bumping our asses to the songs, all those crazy funny dance moves were priceless...yea baby! shut off the light and lets groove to the music! believe me, that was faaaaaaaar more fun than going down to a club.

one fine autumn morning....

i dont remember any more perfect morning than this...first of all, is sunday!! no school , no work, no library today.....just some light study n cleaning at home...
but my morning wouldnt be so perfect without you.....

went for breakfast with darling n yong....and then we walked down to songhee, ohhhh !! beautiful scene, quiet harbour, authentic victorian buildings as back ground....i will highly recommend this place for a romantic moment with the love one, the only thing that spoilt it a little was my complains of leaving the camera back home all along the walk, which was quite annoying.....

a maple leaf that makes my face so much smaller...hahahahha*evil laugh* im loving this!!

fall can be quite a mess, but i would say is my favourite scene...this street will be covered with cherry blossom during spring time, which is amazingly beautiful too....





Do u guys know im an ANTM freak? hahaha ok not so bad la...i believe the 5th season is on air...almost thru i guess...

im not good with following episodes, so real tv had season 1 replay right before season 2 sometime ago, is like a marathon replay, 12 hours in a roll sitting infront of the TV( yea i know that is just plain sick!) , recorded the whole season while i was at it, no commercial nothing! perfect!!

kinda follow the schedule for season 2, every tuesday 10pm, it was the day i looked forward so much! got the complete season recorded too!!

was out of breath with school during season 3, somehow got it downloaded from the internet not too long ago....but of coz i missed the fun of looking forward for the next episode after a sneak preview at the end of each one...

Elyse Sewell of coz!! A med student who's kicking ass in modeling industry....just admire her intelligence and bitchyness, in another word - being herself. Not so much about her arrogance though, but what makes it best was she admitted to it at the end....I found out about her blog recently and the most amazing thing is!! she replied to most of the comments, im not talking about 5 comments a day, but average 200 each entry!! she even replied to mine!! im just sooooo impressed with that.....right on elyse!

went to herbalist yesterday, kinda told him that i been getting really hungry these days becoz of the appetite medicine that he added in the herbs, so i want to stop it before i put on lbs!!! but i think he still hv those in there....coz i still get hungry easily today....sighhhhh..

so becoz of my constant hunger, i had this crazy fantasy this morning on the way to school, i was holding my cereal bowl n looked out the window, imagine i pass by this nasi lemak, kuih muih stall run by a macik, then i can stop n tah pau to school...

wake up wake up!!!! obviously it didnt happen and is never gonna happen here...unless i be the macik lahhh, but then again i dunno how to make nasi lemak nor kuih muih.....

soooooo, to compensate that, i had bah kut teh for dinner tonight, it was pretty good besides the meats was too soft, n torn in the soup..but still damn hor liao, im way too full now coz i gobbled down too fast, *burp!*

oh yea! had beef chili bread bowl for lunch today!!! it was soooo yummy, but like i said, i will trade two of that chili bowl for one small pack of nasi lemak , *sob sob*

public high school teachers are on strike for more than a week, can u guys believe it? i mean... kids are staying home for more than a week, just becoz their teachers r not "well paid" enough!

the funny thing is, bc transit is on strike today to support them too, so no bus for half day....and it was raining quite abit today, so ppls have to walk, bike or drive if they hv a car...

i woke up late, went to school late n miss class, not like is gonna make any diff, coz earlier of today, few hundreds ppls were there blocking entrance and parking lot, to stop ppl going to University....i think alot of them did miss classes, most of the cafe in uvic were closed today just to support the strike ....*shrug* ,

see ppls are losing in south Asia, more than 10 thousands lives we r talking about, and here they are striking becoz of wanting more?? i dont get it...anyone? pls enlighten!!

im all healed!!

i been sick for the past week, now feeling so much better, infact, think im completely healed...

anyway...new dannsu/lonewolf opened yesterday, darling n dad worked till morning setting up the store, and then he came home to shower n refreshed, n open the store, by the end of the day, poor thing was all drained....rushed all nite to open on saturday to catch the traffic but that was a big dissapointment, there werent many ppls came in the store, maybe it was still quite empty...nvm it will all work out fine....

as for me, first weekend in school, there are two midterms, four assignments and one lab report due next week....never mind...take it easy n all will work out fine....thank god there were few good ppls in school who are very very helpful, took a day off on thursday so that was really nice...

im craving for dessert now, cousin invented this red bean cheesecake, hv u try it?? no? me neither....wahhh how i wish.....yummmmm!! okok stop dreaming, gotto get back to work!! ta for now!

do u lose ur temper very often? I do, abosolutely hate it, n is so hard to fix... u know biting ur teeth n control it…one time, two times, three times.. oh god, is not a pretty sight when u let it all out eventually.

Sister was telling me that some of her frens are pretentious, is not that they are bad ppls, but not as genuine as her, so that upset her abit.

Now tell me, is that a good thing or bad thing being honest ? (when the truth is always ugly)

have to do something about my ego boost, im annoyed with it, this has to stop at some level. yup im one of them. and I hate it!! try to be an opposite side of it, im the loser with low self esteem, confidence level down to zero. Why do things has to be from one extreme to another eh? somehow ,the in between balance has to be found. HAS TO BE!

the new store is coming together, thanks to alot of people, but since monday, besides bringing down dinner, i didnt help around at all, feel so boh yiong. when he had the whole list of people to thank to, i wasnt in the list, plus the colour i chose turned out - not so great. rewritten work term report was sent back for rewrite AGAIN, and i deleted the softcopy, HOW COULD I DO THAT!?!?! i should really go bang my head on the wall now....

Renovation party

havent been posting for a while, thats becoz i been so damn busy renovating new Dannsu, yup! we run out of money to hire , so we decided to do it ourselves, with big help from pals, Jim, Nate, Butch, Candyce, Jeff and Yong... featuring free flow pizza n beers, now the party begin...

tear down door n wall, putting up dry wall up the ceiling, now we ve reached the fun part: sand paper n mudding!! boy, when i blow my nose, it was alll BLACK!! damn bloody dusty!

Jim is dog sitting for his client, so he brought Bailey on the first day, what a good dog, he's worth 20k , coz his owner bought him insurance (told ya! dogs are expensive...)

anyway, they work till 6 in the morning on that day, and i brought Bailey back home for some sleep...didnt think he get much sleep at all, it must be those pizza crusts he had earlier, got big diarhea case all over our carpet, eeww!!! so the dog has to go the very next day....i seriously cant handle that strong dog, brought him for walk. Becoz he hasnt been to the city, so he pretty much dragged me all over the place, until Jim told me to put the leash in between his legs so i could pull (gently) on his balls to make him stop....

got quite a few pictures taken, and hopefully soon, will be able to view the result of that "big" project (yes, it is big to us), cant wait! cant wait!
