im half a century old, and feeling like havent achieved anything in my life, still a bladdy student to begin with, definately not financially independant. My little sister's convocation is on this coming August, in the title of Bachelor of Elec Engineering with first class honour! and Wtf hv i got?
I need to clear my mind and really open up my eyes, to explore, to exprience. at least ill be street smart in tat way (which i am).
I need a new perspective in life.
Yesterday in ANTM C6, Janice tricked Gina into revealing the BITCH, and then told her that she should never done that. REALLY? should we never confront a bitch face to face?
I guess thats one of the survival skill eh, to avoid all the crazy back stabbing n politics. well i guess in a way Janice was right.

2 incidents that dissapointed me
1)
spoke to mom n karen last night, i had to pause the movie we were watching to call home when i found out that Angie is gonna quit school, i freaking hate a quiter! esp she's only like 10subjects away from completing her course. It is her third times failing certain subjects and she sorta gave up.
the last time she considered quiting, she consulted me and i told her to go on, as in really trying her best but not partying till 2 or 3 in the morning n still in bed 2 or 3 in the afternoon. That seriously made a person's life meaningless, yours truly had been thru there and it felt lost. after highschool, she went into accounting coz my cousin was doing it, now she has no direction again, this fren came along giving her advices about picking up make up n hair do course, ok is nice that she's picking up new skill plus that field make quite good money if ur well established.
but is that what she really wants or just some floats came along the way when ur drowning in the ocean? becoz if u dont like it , ur not gonna complete it! i sure hope this time things worked out for her.

another thing that dissapointed me, spoke to Karen about this issue after mom, she commented that Angie cant do anything in her life! and i made a silly joke, if she doesnt make it in the future, we both hv to support her n take care of her. I meant it wasnt really a joke, if anything *touch wood* happened to any of my family, i will do anything i can to help.
and karen kinda freaked out: " WHAT SUPPORT HER!? she's gonna hv her husband to take care of her wat!" , wow i responded in a very dissapointing way, how much could i possibly count on this sister if anything goes wrong with me in the future? i mean from the way she freaked out, is mom right about her? i sure hope not but her reaction sure surprised me.
so very proud of myself, as sleepy and unmotivated as i am, managed to made my way to the library instead of heading home for a nap,(which fyi, im cutting myself off nap) is such a bad habbit that been developed recently.

my traveling dream~
i been drinking four nights in a roll, talking about adapting to the canadian culture, i think i did it pretty darn well.
From the comments of few frens about my blog, is always about food, pics of food, pooky or urs truly. So i decided not to take any picture during yesterday "self made shabu shabu" dinner. Butch made this amazing sauce , man i could learn so much from that guy bout cooking. So shiori had took off to Japan now, guess the next time we ll see her will probably in msia, hopefully they will attend our wedding. or we ll pay a visit in japan on the way back.
Im gonna apply for bursary this summer, just becoz one of the qualifications is to be under student loan, which mean i will hv to start submitting my both of my applications. If my grade didnt drop too much, and i get it again, might wanna travel to Europe with that bunch of free money. What do u think? now that we have to carry this heavy mortgage n all.....
I been talking bout visiting london for long time, and we figure it isnt fair for mel, kel, n Danny to come see me where i could just fly there n see them all, plus they arent that thrill about Canada,apparently not as happening as london. well just so u know vancouver had voted to be best city to live this year ok!?
I promised darling a trip to Mexico or cruise to Alaska a year after i started working, my treat! Imagine lying on a tropica beach sipping magarita or brazilian beers. Then just dozed off in our bathing suit and realised the sun burnt when we were sober. ahhhh wat a life eh?
just to get the hang of it, im msn'ing with frens about our traveling dreams....

my boring day
as usual, the weekend plan to finish a chapter did not come true, guess im really a last minute person! but thank god i managed to drag myself into the library now and hopefully to stay till 5 and proceed to gym then follow by shiori's farewell dinner...
my diet plan seriously went to hell when andrew called yesterday afternoon to remind us about the bbq we planned two weeks ago, which we had completely forgotten! so we showed up at andrews, his boys r so cute n lovely. we had alot alot to eat becoz it was the host's order to finish the food, (thats partly true), god i was drunk and had no control of the amount of food i had consumed.
after eating, we played snake n ladder board game with his son, hahaha hadnt played that in a long time. then followed by scrabbles which i had never played b4, so obviously my score came to last.
on n all the night was good, i collapsed immediately when i got home, and had this terrible stomach ache in the middle of the night, must be the food!! i was hoping that i ll hv a bad diarhea but unfortunately........missed morning class this morning, thank god dr olesky accepted my late assignment.
woke up to this huge headache n smell of breakfast, when the ham n cheese omelette (My favourite)presented infront of me, i felt disgusted by the grease and prolly is the upset stomach, but i ate most of it anyway, mind me! it was delicious.
once again a pointless entry, yes u are right! my blog is fucking boring!

doo doo
is all about losing weight now, which is good in a way becoz we could motivate each other of doing things, eating healthy, go to gym almost everyday. I mean even his phone conversation right now at this moment is about trisep, biseps, leg muscles, etc....
i hv seen no results yet! but i can see darling is started to be slimmer. he said my problem was i starved myself too much n that kinda slowed down my metabolism...blah blah blah anyway...
i had a weird dream yesterday, maybe becoz of the conversation i had with kelly n danny as well as huilih in msn. i dreamt of we get together n were laughing n having so much fun~! then they hooked me up with this british guy, n i was single in my dream until last bit of it, darling showed up with his new pet-a colorful snake, weird isnt it!?
woke up to him being so sweet to me and i kinda felt bad n said: "stop being nice to me ! i cheated on u in my dream!!" haha, he's been trying to cut down on his smoke, like alot! so kinda grumpy at times, so i hv been taking "detour".
this conversation came out, about comparing ourselves with frens in high school, his opinion is to keep ourselves always ahead of ppls, couldnt possibly with left behind, sighhh, i dont really agree with it, i mean competition is good but in general i ll still go for hapiness. pictures these two scenarios:
1. a filthy rich guy who lives in a mansion, has everything , all the women he wants but always come home alone.
2. an average joe who has a lovely family, two children n a dog. playing with them in the yard or park.

anyway there were this stripper came in the shop today n spent quite abit money! i overheard she was telling her fren that she was making 300$ during this private dance yesterday. she claimed herself as a good HUSTLER! WAT THE HELL!!

10K run
yesterday, we went for a 10Km run around elk lake and beaver lake, hello!? i mean me doing a 10k, okla not running all the way but kinda fast walking n run abit, but still we managed to finished it in one hour and 40 mins!! i know kennysia did that 42K marathon thingy but THAT consider pretty impressive for me; although the last half an hour i kinda couldnt feel my legs anymore, it just went numb n kept moving, it wasnt me who was moving them but i dunno where the strength came from.
well on the way we saw quite a few dogs went hiking with their owners, and there was this dog dove into the lake to get his ball, so we spoke to the owner abit how to get our dog into that lake, apparently the only way is to throw him in to let him know is ok, so we did, when we were swinging, 1, 2, 3...i saw the fear, scared the shit out of pooky. haha, we feel bad
this morning i woke up by pooky's vomiting sound, n i tot we gave him too much can food last night but he vomitted out a bundle of his own hair. geeez i tot only cat does that? is that normal for dog too? getting kinda concern.
test this morning was peanut, the day is still early, and i have exactly 7 hours b4 my registration time, i ve got one more elective to decide, which is really killing me!!
audio signal processing or random signal, or should i go for digital signal processing 2; or maybe robotics!?

oh did i mention darling got a dishwasher from uncle steve as his birthday present as well as house warming present!?!? boy do i ever hv to do dishes anymore, ngek ngek ngek!! we just gotto install it to one of the kitchen cabinet, then set to go!

we got something?
yup, so far we won nothing from tim hourton's but ironiclly, as we came back from vancouver we noticed there was a bicycle parked right in our garden.
after waited for a few days n nobody came back to claim it, or at least sneaked in to steal it. Darling took it for a ride two days ago and apparently it was a pretty good bike, ok so now we gonna keep it! see, i told u we gonna get something, didnt i!?
anyway the completion date is today! what completion date? officially we are house owners!! a fucking duplex!! isnt this awesome?
we gotto find someway to celebrate this tonight.
mean while, im starving like hell right now, trying to cut the holiday weights by consuming 500 calories a day n burn off 450 at gym really draining me. but i know the fact that i will have some extra to spare. yup i sure do!
called home last night n bro answered mom's phone saying that she was napping, i suspected that she purposely didnt wanna talk to me , maybe she 's upset coz the last time i called was more than two weeks ago?
went moxie's for dinner last night with butch, shori , jeff n sarah. looking all those delicious food on everyone's plate n feel so pathedic with my half beef dip sandwich with tiny bit of side salad. Well, at least i made this decision after the whole day of contemplation whether i should get a rack of roast lamb, mash potatoes n the whole nine yards.
oh well! hope this will be worth while

strictly makan trip!!
ok so i had just gobbled down a XL cup of timmy's coffee way too fast this morning that i had to go to the washroom every 15 mins now. Reason being is, there's this row down the rim contest where there are toyota Rav4 suv's,Panasonic 50" plasma TV, king broil bbq, $1000 cash etc prizes to be given away!
there's news bout this 10 yrs old girl found an empty timmy coffee cup n she knew about the contest, so she tried to open the rim but couldnt, she so asked for her 12 yrs old fren's help and they won a Toyota Rav4!! but there's this arguement between both of the parent deciding how they shold or who should get the prize.
so in the past days, i been to tim hourton's everyday, n i dreamt about winning a plasma TV two nights ago,but my mistake was telling somebody bout my dream too soon, so i heard it won come true, i should ve kept it to myself. SO i was told that im NAIVE but i have faith that im gonna get something!!
im having way too many holidays in the past month, and those holiday weight is killing me, i was there trying so hard to cut off m tofino weight and everything went to waste this trip, it just, the food in vancouver is tooo delicious! anyway here are some pictures as usual:

we took off at about 6pm on friday night and arrived at kenny's about 1030pm, so as soon as midnight hitted, we celebrate darling's birthday! look how happy he is?
i ve learnt a new word:- chillex (chilling + relax), n everybody got really drunk! the green sweater guy in the middle is Heng, kenny's new roomate, he just received the SPM results on the same night and he got like 9A1 and 1A2, freaking genius!
on the second day, we went for our nasi lemak for brunch, n then to the beach trying to walk the calories off, and check this out! we hv time to go home for a short nap b4 we started out night again! haha really chillex!
we wanted to go to hooters, n there was one on robson st, but apparently they had shut down long time ago, so b4 we decided where to eat... here's a pic of a city night life, i know im like a kampung girl.

so we settled for red robin's, we ve actually never eaten there b4, so we were told the burgers there r good
they hv cute coasters...
I was still quite full from lunch, so i just ordered a french onion soup, n darling went for the monster burger, that is the biggest burger he ever had!!!

we met up with Nicole n her bf at the jumbo smokie stall, this girl is so gorgeous, i esp like her hair!!! she's naturally red!
Nicole n her bf just returned from a hockey game, so we got this Cannucks blown up hammer, n darling kept bullying kenny with that
so we went home n got drunk again, Mike came n hang out with us, they he suggested we get chubby chicken, all of us finished 30 pieces!! i was sooo drunk that night, finished a whole bottle of wine by myself, becoz the chicken was too salty, i drank down the wine like water, two cups gone by the time i finished two pieces of chicken, then i just dozed off in the sofa n woke up 6 in the morning n pour myself the last cup.hahahah
on Sunday morning, we woke up really late, and were late for our lunch appointment with how n his family at Richmond' sushi, i been wanted to eat sashimi for weeeeeeeeeeeeks! finally i got it, alot of "it" coz it was a buffet, there were sushi, teriyaki chicken, cheese seafood oyster/ oysters, etc...food were too delicious that i forgot to take pic!
pooky met these two girls infront of the apartment and those girls were nice enough to share their dolls with pooky, but he just grabbed one n started running, it took quite a while for the girl to chased him down n get her doll back...the scenerio was too funny
thats it!
finals are weeks from now, im gonna start studying really hard for it from now on... no more partying nor trips

we wanted to go to hooters, n there was one on robson st, but apparently they had shut down long time ago, so b4 we decided where to eat... here's a pic of a city night life, i know im like a kampung girl.

so we settled for red robin's, we ve actually never eaten there b4, so we were told the burgers there r good

I was still quite full from lunch, so i just ordered a french onion soup, n darling went for the monster burger, that is the biggest burger he ever had!!!

we met up with Nicole n her bf at the jumbo smokie stall, this girl is so gorgeous, i esp like her hair!!! she's naturally red!
Nicole n her bf just returned from a hockey game, so we got this Cannucks blown up hammer, n darling kept bullying kenny with that
so we went home n got drunk again, Mike came n hang out with us, they he suggested we get chubby chicken, all of us finished 30 pieces!! i was sooo drunk that night, finished a whole bottle of wine by myself, becoz the chicken was too salty, i drank down the wine like water, two cups gone by the time i finished two pieces of chicken, then i just dozed off in the sofa n woke up 6 in the morning n pour myself the last cup.hahahah
on Sunday morning, we woke up really late, and were late for our lunch appointment with how n his family at Richmond' sushi, i been wanted to eat sashimi for weeeeeeeeeeeeks! finally i got it, alot of "it" coz it was a buffet, there were sushi, teriyaki chicken, cheese seafood oyster/ oysters, etc...food were too delicious that i forgot to take pic!
pooky met these two girls infront of the apartment and those girls were nice enough to share their dolls with pooky, but he just grabbed one n started running, it took quite a while for the girl to chased him down n get her doll back...the scenerio was too funny
thats it!
finals are weeks from now, im gonna start studying really hard for it from now on... no more partying nor trips

@vancouver
is 1123am saturday morning aka darling's birthday morning!
we arrived in vancouver (kenny's house) bout 1030 last night, this ferry ride seemed to be the longest becoz we didnt wanna drive, saved us about 70$, and to bring pooky we had to stay at the car deck, in the blistering cold for an hour n a half ride! of coz a cup of hot chocolate helps but the ride was sucky, we saw other 2 doggies there too.which werent very friendly.
blah anyway, we started drinking as soon as we got here and the clock *tick tock* , tada is 12 am!!! so few of us sneaked into the kitchen n prepared the cake, put candles, and sparkly firework stick, the cake was sooooooooo nice ( pictures later)
darling blow candles, happy birthday!!! but he didnt received any presents besides mine. which is a card with 80$ inside, im not so unromantic give him cash on his birthday lah, although thats his favourite.
initially i wanted to get him an extra symbol for his drumset, but one fine day he decided to go in long n mcquade to try out the electronic drums, then he ended up walked out with a high-hat n a symbol stand which cost 150$ + tax!! so i agreed to pay half of that on his birtyday :)
still unromantic i know!
anyway these ppls r in the pool swimming right now, and the reason im stuck here is becoz our lovely birthday boy insisted that he will not go swimming when he gets here, so i tot oklah i dont hv to bring my swim suit n all that since he's not going to swim, then this morning he was like " i feel like going for a swim, lets go!!"
left me alone here :~( nvm hopefully the nasilemak later will compensate all these!! hahahahhaha cant wait!! this is actually the thing we r looking forward to the most of the whole trip!

pie execution
ok i was on time to the first class today after not attending any classes for two days, then i saw this group of ppl which i had seen many times in campus, (damn! i wish i had brought my camera to school) , they were all in this robe with pointy hoodie and some kinda weird logo in the middle, n one of them will hold this radio playing those scary religious music,another one will hold this pole with a ring in the middle, which now i understand what is that for.
i kinda missed the beginning part but basiclly they were asking our professor if he was found guilty for commiting this "crime" , maybe for setting our mid term too hard? maybe giving too many assignments? haha
and he said :" I AM GUILTY! ", they they proceed to put a pointy hoodie onto his head, just enought to only show his face n cover his shoulder n all, they said to prevent the hair n shirt got dirty. and then they put his head into this ring of the pole with both of his hands into a tiny ring rope at the side, b4 the "execution" , she asked:" any last word!?" and our professor shouted out "IM INNOCENT!!!!" n closed his eyes n mouth tight! and they proceeded throw this creamy pie onto his face and we all applauded...
hahaha he's the coolest professor i ever had! DR Dale Olesky, approx 50++ yrs old. I think that group left their phone number on the board incase any of us wanted to execute any of our math professors, u know pie = 3.142

yakiniku night featuring okonomiyaki
ok so we had a fun fun drinking + eating + jamming night
as butch promised last summer, (almost a year ago) that he's gonna make us okonomiyaki (japanese vege omelette), i personally had never tried that but we both were in love with takoyaki (fried balls of octopus n dough) when we first tried it at the takoyaki stall somewhere near Narita train station in Japan.
ok first, the main charactor that night was suppose to be yakiniku (japanese hot plate), the ingredients are very basic:-
extremely thin sliced beef n pork which i got from the japanese grocery, then u can cut ur favourite vege (in slices), potatoes, onions, eggplants, mushrooms, and cabbages. of coz u need a hot plate as well.
then served with sticky rice and sprinkle some of those dried fish and seaweed
but the important thing is the sauce, use two medium apples, 1/3 of large onion, 6 cloves of garlic and shredded them with a shredder.
the add two table spoon of sesame oil, 10 table spoon of soy sauce and 3 teaspoon of sugar.
lastly, sprinkle some green onion n mix everything up.( I personally like to add some water coz it was too salty)
okonomiyaki ingredients - noodles , egg, bean sprout, bacon, cabbage, green onion, and okonomiyaki flour (mix with water)
now let's introduce butch's style
1).he basiclly swirl the flour onto the hot plate,
2) then add cabbage, bean sprout, green onion n bacon (by layers)
3)this is the challenging part, to flip them upside down, mean while, he has noodle frying at the side
4)another challenging part, to transfer those stack of vege ontop of the noodle
5)beat two eggs onto the plate n then transfer the whole thing onto the egg.
6) sprinkle some dried tuna fish n seaweed on top n serve with okonomiyaki sauce
tada!! doesnt it look great?
this is shori style, she basiclly mix the cabbage, bean sprout, bacon n green onion together with the flour n do it like pancake.
another similar step is put two eggs at the base. I personally prefer shori style, coz it tasted similar to takoyaki.

benefits from bad experience?
I had just received news about step dad's second marrige failure, this time, apparently he repeated the same mistake...how do i know that? according to mom, they get along better as friends than husband n wife, any advice seeking, you know ,"heart to heart talk"? mom always there to listen n advising. (mind you, my mom is very good at that). she had constantly warned him about not repeating the same mistake, i mean providing his/her basic need as in material wise is not enough, but he must also learn to care about a person that he loves.
maybe he's caught up with work, i mean he does work very very hard... maybe? i dunno.
u know when ur in elementary or even high school? u tend to need to fill up alot of forms for all kinda purposes? and do u ever had to lie about ur parent's occupations?
occupation:
mother: clerk
father: business man
really, i once asked darling, if u lost either one of ur parent *touch wood*, would u feel equally sad or it ll somehow hurt more to lose a particular one? and he looked at me n asked:"what do u think?", which kinda answered my question. then he asked me the same question.
nonono, this is different situation we r talking about, i never really grow up with my father around. and i used to always question myself, "why me!? why cant i hv a happy family?" it did had a great impact in my childhood, because my father had 8 other siblings and they all had such a normal family, which is why we kinda stood out,u know not having both of our parent around during family gathering, it just the 3 of us, so we tend to stick to grandma or aunt alot. well~! not anymore, because slowly, one after another uncles kinda revealed their family problems, particular two cousins of mine are going through what we been through when we were younger, so i could really understand their situation and perhaps some pitiness to them.
but now i kinda changed my perception about this whole thing, compared to alot of ppls, they appear to hv a healthy good family but what is really going on behind, very often, we dunno! and alot of them growing up having everything they need but lack of love from their parents. fortunately, we have our mom all this while, who always talk to us, guide us. I mean she might not be always there for us, but we could feel her love all along...
i remembered last year when mom visited, i dunno how did this came up but she told me that she knew all the while that i frauded her signature to sign my report card as well as my sisters when i was like 12? hey not that we had really bad grades that we afraid to show her, but she works till pretty late and often we couldnt catch her b4 we go to bed. but of coz i kept quiet when she brought up this issue.
someone once told me, you wouldnt be who you are right now if it wasnt for ur experiences, who knows if we were born with a gold key, we might be spoiled and hv no direction in life? fortunately n proudly i can say we know what we want in life and proceeding it well so far.

curry laksa recipe
ok for those of u back home, u probably wont need to know this, coz u can just walk to the kopitiam behind ur house and tah pau one, no hassle at all!!
curry laksa recipe - the soup , the rest like noodle n egg etc u know lah.
so first step put like 700ml of water and 2 ikan bilis cube (it has to be ikan bilis, chicken cube taste different)
chopped up shallots n fry it until golden brown
chilipaste - chili powder with water
pour into the frying shallots (my shallot wasnt exactly brown yet) , then add sugar
open up two to three cans of coconut milk.
after the sambal is done, pour into the ikan bilis soup and add those santan into it too
tada!! the color is nice right!?!? add in meat balls n tofu puff, one thing is, no si ham...
this morning was a windy windy day, so windy.....
that blow the super hard gelled hair messy
so windy....
that we could lean against the wind, this is soooooooooo fun!!! if u dont do properly, u fall off the cliff, oh well!

old man fish
today i found out that kelly had created a website for her work, and i found this video in her website, which is kinda sad story- this old man like fish so much that he himself wanna be a fish too, so there he goes try to be a fish....

Kelly is a fresh grad from sonic art, which is electronic audio engineering (i guess),now currently working in london, i think she works for this company that record annoucements in the airport or even in cabin? i still remember when she told her father bout her job, her dad misunderstood n told his frens n relatives that kelly is an annoucer in the airport, hahaha... she had wrote many good songs, which i guess those soundtracks in that video were her work too! anyway,check out her work at my link.
so it was another friday night last night, so as usual we ll go crazy mike rent a movie, and dont forget! friday night is also crab night for the purple garden buffet, so i suggested that we go, and after that i tell you im really damn pissed at that restaurant!! now that they got famous, they stop serving crabs so often, even on friday as promised!!!?? KNN!! but we ate there anyway, (but damn boh kam buan), so after that it wasnt 9pm yet (usually crazy mike hv 1.99$ for new release afer 9pm) which is incredibly cheap! yea back home, we could get pirated dvds for , i dunno the last time i got it 3 for RM20 (C$7), and u get to fucking keep those dvds! but when i first stepped into a video store here, i found out that new releases are $5++ plus tax which will end up somewhere around $6, and for that price we could buy 3 pirated dvds in sungai wang!! I was just as shocked, but now that we found crazy mike, we kinda settled for $2.39 each rental, plus the guy who works there is kinda nice, sooooo nice that whenever he tells u ur total, u could see he feel sooo bad for asking money from you,is like he's feeling that pinch too, hahahhaha is really funny.
so we rented 3 old movies yesterday, one of them is jurassic park 3 which darling hasnt watched and he was so exicted to watch that movie, like a lil kid hehe. and then after we finished that movie, the night is still early, so i popped in another movie that we rented -Amittyville horror-3D, this is based on a true story about this haunted house, i ve watched the Amittyville horror 2005 sometime ago and really liked it, but the oringinal one was from sometime around the 70s or 80s, so i tot it ll be fun to watch them too, to see how much technology and film production skill has improved, turned out! i dozed off at that movie, it was soooo not scary and is one of those ghost will come out during day light? i so hate that!! i mean honestly, ghost only come out as dusk fell right? well at least i acknowledged that since young.
blah, anyway dont rent old western ghost films, at least those from hong kong i still prefer the old time ones, u know those where vampires jump around and when u stick the yellow paper on their forehead ,they stop moving? or if u stop breathing and they cant smell u? then eventually someone in the group will fart n let our the air...haha,i still have most of those movies, like Mr vampire 1&2, etc...and i believe u could still buy them from yesasia.com.
i had just finished cleaning the house, yes thats wat i do the whole day! we r having a guest stay over at our place tonight. gotto go get ready for dinner.ciao!

snatching war?pheeeeeew!
So i ve over spent my $100 giftcard in lululemon, and i went for a nice navy judo pant, when i was done paying n stuff, a lady worked there complimented on my purple hoodie (which i got it from there months ago), and so i complaint about how the neck line got torn becoz my "fren" pulled me at the hood too hard, and i been trying to get another one but they r all sold out! so she said she have another grey one left (which is my favourtie color!) but in size 6, damn! i could barely fit into the 8. coz of desperation i tried it on anyway and it fits bit tight but is actually ok!! (OMG! i cant believe i could fit into a 6), so when i was about to pay for that, that lady confessed that she was gonna get it tonight. So obviously she missed her chance, bla bla bla yay! i got two!
then after my lab, i came back down to the shop to let darling go back rest coz he is pretty sick, and yong dropped by n asked me to go lululemon to get a jacket for his sister coz he didnt really wanna go alone. So we made a quick run, and saw that lady again.
lady: "so! ur back for more jacket!?"
me:" oh no, my fren here wants to get one for his sister"
(then turned to yong), i bought this hoodie earlier today and which this lady wanted"
lady:" yea, so we arent friends"
me:(giggle) "no?"
lady: (cold)" NO."
woww, see what us lady will turn into a bitch when it comes to shopping eh? i bet a snatching war would ve begun if she didnt work there. ar what the hell, im the winner eventually!! HAHAHAHAHa *evil laughs*, again! now i have two!!
we watched this documentary last night, born into brothels - life about these children from a red light district in calcutta. two thumbs high up!!! very touching n inspiring movie, these kids are talented! they take great pictures and those pictures are on sales online from 200 to 500usd (somemore with autograph limited audition!!)
another must watch film!!

then after my lab, i came back down to the shop to let darling go back rest coz he is pretty sick, and yong dropped by n asked me to go lululemon to get a jacket for his sister coz he didnt really wanna go alone. So we made a quick run, and saw that lady again.
lady: "so! ur back for more jacket!?"
me:" oh no, my fren here wants to get one for his sister"
(then turned to yong), i bought this hoodie earlier today and which this lady wanted"
lady:" yea, so we arent friends"
me:(giggle) "no?"
lady: (cold)" NO."
woww, see what us lady will turn into a bitch when it comes to shopping eh? i bet a snatching war would ve begun if she didnt work there. ar what the hell, im the winner eventually!! HAHAHAHAHa *evil laughs*, again! now i have two!!
we watched this documentary last night, born into brothels - life about these children from a red light district in calcutta. two thumbs high up!!! very touching n inspiring movie, these kids are talented! they take great pictures and those pictures are on sales online from 200 to 500usd (somemore with autograph limited audition!!)
another must watch film!!

SAY NO TO MARIJUANA!
Marijuana - (also known as pot, weed, doobie, grass, or GANJAL!) is very common here in Canada , esp among the hippies, it is a soft drug, non addictive, nothing like heroine or things like that
now thanks to these ppls, Marijuana is legal in the biggest province in canada- Ontario
but as for BC (which claims to have the good quality weed), not yet! if im not mistaken, they have been discriminalized though, means if u get caught smoking weed, u'll just get a ticket or something like that? Imagine in Malaysia, if u get caught having dunno more than how many grams, they can ACTUALLY hang you!!
BC is actually contemplating about having it legalized so that the government can sell n tax on them openly, it contributes millions and millions annually in BC economy, so of coz they want to have the whole cake by themselves, just like most of the liquor store in BC.ITS ALL ABOUT THE BUSINESS BABY!
this house that im living right now used to be a marijuana growth (in the basement!) landlord found out and kicked the previous tenant out and then we got the chance to move in. thats why my basement now have all the air piping and most of the window are sealed by big piece of wood.
lets talk about the effects about this drug.
Effects on brain:
The short-term effects of marijuana can include problems with memory and learning; distorted perception; difficulty in thinking and problem solving; loss of coordination; and increased heart rate.
Effects on heart:
One study has indicated that a user�s risk of heart attack more than quadruples in the first hour after smoking marijuana
Effects on lungs:
1 joint = 5 ciggies, so go figure about ur chances of getting lung cancer!

give it up to the grieving children
last year when i was in the shit hole bridge program for 6 months, i remember somewhere during the final, mother of a classmate passed away of cancer, so he had to drop everything and flew back to his hometown to take care of things.
recall last spring when I returned to Victoria after a long vacation, my sister Karen came with me too, end of my vacation was the beginning of hers. We met Jim's cousin, Keith who just lost his mom , she was ill from cancer too.
while Jeff was in malaysia for holiday, his dad passed away from sudden heart attack.
I had just received news frm my lab partner minutes ago regarding that he couldnt attend lab next monday becoz his mom in China died of cancer last night.
I cant imagine the pain if anything happen to my parent, esp when im so far away from them. be strong my friends, and may you love ones rest in peace.
