gosh the flu bugs has been with me for more than a week now, GO AWAY!!!

Even though i havent been feeling well, but the butterfly effect in my stomach is getting bigger each day!

4 MORE WEEKS BABY! Then im off to my homeland to celebrate the biggest event of my life. I don’t care what everybody else said but wedding is all about the Bride! That’s right darling, you are there to look good and to compliment the bride….

Looking at honeymoon packages, selecting flowers, wedding favors, list of love songs…….. it is overwhelming but oh boy am I ever enjoying every single bit of it.

I cant wait to go back and see all my friends, I cant wait to see my family, I cant wait to go back and see the wedding banquet venues. Cant wait to meet up with my florist, cant wait to see how well my pictures turned out, slide show, album……..OH OH and my ikea wedding cake! Customize by my pastry chef cousin – swee.

When I get back, I gotto start distributing red bombs, decorate the newly wed room (which is going to be a rental suite), buy new bed sheet, pair of lamp, what else…….

Oh yea that’s right – be ready to expect more of this kinda post the next few weeks

shoes make me happy, i wish i could have one room custom made just for my shoes....

I ve been shopping in Aldo for my bridal shoes, with the following requirements:

1. they have to be at least 3 inches, so they ll make me taller next to darling
2. they have to be really REALLY comfortable
3. they have to be silver/white/light gold.
4. they have to be sparkling.
5. they have to be sexy :)

im not use to hills, and I dont want to be tripping and fall on my face on my big day in my beautiful dress....so from now on im going to be practicing in my new shoes~~

im going to be wearing them at home alot!

food bank challenge - great success!!

i hate the flu season! that is exactly why I got my flu shot when the leaves started falling...

but but but i got the virus too!! Doctor Vaughan said "you are protected from most of the "dangerous" virus, but not all millions of them "

Im safe from flu , but now i got a cold...... dry cough, sore throat, running nose. Perfect timing for wrapping up project eh? despite how much virus im spreading, ,i still have to dragged myself to work...

but is all fine, at least i got my work done....well almost


Yearly food bank challenge is back! Just like last year, I brought back "pie-a-leader" challenge, instead of a raffle, we made it more interesting, is a bidding war!

12 leaders participated, and we also get our CEO agree if raise more than 1500, he 'll volunteer himself to get pie'd.

The bidding war has been going on for two weeks and today is the execution day.

we raised total $4305 for mustard seed food bank! and all the leaders got pie'd today!!

Some of them really really duwan to get the pie'd that they willing to pay 200$ to save their "face".

But a generous guy donated 500$ last minute (with sd foundation matched another $500) , he got $1000 to make sure everybody in the list get the whipped cream on their faces!!




Besides that, there were also sumo wrestling, pretty violence, the damage being - a big hole in the dry wall...

I ve been sick, *coff coff* actually nothing serious, still able to get out of bed and go to work,

Yesterday I met up with him for interview feedback. My intention is to express myself more to things that i didnt do clearly during the interview.

I might sound desperate but the truth is, you gotto really fight for what you want. Reason im not the chosen candidate is because they are expecting someone at a very senior level. It will take me a year or two to get to that level. Fair enough, but I feel the need to let him know that im ready to build my career here and there. That I want this job so much is hard for me to let go. I will read books to improve myself to get to the level he wants me to be.


After half an hour talk, he decided to give it a little more thoughts and talk to the manager........

*finger crossed*

life is full of ups and down, and i ve been screaming for consistency. But honestly, dont you just enjoy the roller coaster ride? no matter how the journey goes, it will still bring you back to where you boarded in one piece.

so, why worry!? live life for now.... Im feeling army strong and ready to strike again.

my passion is

1. make my mom live in a comfortable life that she doesnt have to worry about where to find money for this month's mortgage, where to find money to pay car installment.

2. support my sister financially, so she could achieve her dream of becoming a wedding photographer. She's talented! make up, hair do, photoshop, most importantly she found her passion!

I developed interest in testing through that short 3 months, I looked forward to work everyday! never once in that 3 months i did anything that is not work related when im at my desk. I loved my job! I love finding bugs, I love writing and executing my own test plan. what do you mean by i did not demonstrate it during the interview!?

You had seen me work, did that not demonstrate my passion about this job? You can say that I do not have the experience, but dont accuse me for faking my passion.

time flies, it is scary...

yesterday i logged onto photobucket, two accounts, hundreds of pictures....

I went through all of them, some of them really bring back lotsa good memories, maybe because im miserable right now, i felt the sadness looking at those happy footages.

And honestly - the best, happiest, most ideal day of the past say 5 years is christmas 2005

why?

I got the best gift - Pooky, his puppyhood bring us so much closer to each other, is like we are both taking care of our child together. Sunday is our family day, Pooky's park day.

I still remember I will be so excited on saturday nights before going to bed, excited about the Sunday morning....


On Xmas day 2005, is like one of the Sundays to me, only better......because......

we exchanged gifts the night b4... and gifts make me happy



we went to see xmas lights on the same night........it was wet and rainy, that was the first time pooky stick his head out the window under the rain with his new scarf around his neck.

The next day, we woke up to Pooky in this position - had a good laugh and played with him on the bed, i miss his puppy energy

is your office haunted?

This is truly torturing...is 10 pm and im at work for almost 12 hours now, you know those movies that you ve watched sometime ago....with title such as "haunted office" , or criminal cases that bad things happened to people who stayed OT in office? ALONE!! gosh those feeling is TRULY haunting me now!

come on, let my dear meters, run the last flicker point!!! it seems like HOURS waiting for the last point to complete.

is so quiet and im so scare now........i keep hearing foot steps, and seems like my own imagination too.........

DAMN you movies!! put scary thoughts into poor civilians like me.

A little message

I noticed there are about 15 readers daily average in sulee.blogspot.com , (is not alot compared to some of those hot blogers out there) and Im sure we know each other personally, but please.... say hi or something, at least I know who you are..... you know what i mean?


Im so glad today is Friday, weeks ago, i received a phone call from mom saying that my sister Karen have a big giant grow in her uterus, 10cmx10cmx8cm ........is huge for her tiny body!

they dunno if is cancerous until they cut it out and test it. She was under alot of stress!! anyway she came back home from penang to have her operation done in sjmc two days ago, thank god they managed to remove that giant and is not cancerous, but but.......they found hair, soft bone, flesh, skin, loooootsa hair and protein in that lump. OMG!!!!! it was really disturbing!! she was pretty much developing a human !!

never mind that, she said she was going to send me the picture...........on and all, she's fine now.......and couz! if your reading this, dont let grandma know, we didnt do that coz we didnt want her to be worried. and now that she's fine, we dont intend of letting her know....... so.......sek zou lahh :)



I really miss home......

Was another draggy day at school, to think that I will miss the feeling of pounding on my notes and calculator or making my cheat sheet in one of the rooms in clearihue. You are absolutely wrong, Having to do it at all just sucks sooo bad! i dont care if is raining or beautiful sun shine out there. But enough is enough, that is when i officially know i wont be back to school for a longgg lonnngggg time (when im done with this last course of coz)

Ok so spending 7 hours in school and came home without feeling smarter at all........u can pretty much imagine how does THAT feel....


My lovely dogs decided to give me a surprise just to test how far they can push me before my artery pop.



All drawers of my dresser were opened, these dogs are VERY smart to open ALL three of them!

Out of a millions things! The only thing they dragged out from the dresser is the bags where i stored all my bridal wear accessories.

I slowly investigate from the pile of Sh*T on the floor, my hair pieces were still there, THANK GOD! those are my precious. Found my right glove, still in perfect condition - just a few dog hairs on it - thats ok....necklace, earings - found them, they are ok too.....

I guess i am "fortunate" tat they only torn up one side of my glove.

Each of them got their own cell for the next 3 hours - basement and washroom, I know who is the destroyer - the giant puppy, so just to be fair, pooky only did an hour of time.

He was then released to play with the new pumpkin toy i got from starbucks today

No mercy for the PUPPY! He KNOWS he shouldnt do that, coz the minute i opened the door, he came bolting out to the yard with the guilty look, and refuse to come in when called. But he chose to satisfied his teeth and then deal with the consequences.



What am I suppose to do with him......im seriously clueless!!! This is one helluva expensive puppy!

Halloween night

We had a little get together on Halloween night - the previous years i ve been running across the st to buy last minute candies that cost probably twice as much if I were to get it from walmart.

So this year i came prepared, got whole bunch of candies, lollipop, marshmallow, chocolate bars..... but we came home late....plus it was raining, so there werent any trick or treaters, we only had two of them at our door step. Thank god Chris took a bunch home with him.

Our neighbor is so cute ! he had - "Out of Candy" sign by the window.... Im really tempted to go trick or treat, but against coz im tooo ooooold!! They said it is ok to go trick or treats even though your in ur adulthood, as long as you said the right things when they open the door.


aaaaaaaaanyyway!

So tonight is just going to be a small potluck party - no drinking or crazy partying. Came home dead tired and rushing to make some roast chicken, then S showed up with her costume, so i decided to throw something on too.

but the highlight was at the doggies

Ching was a beautiful butterfly, except that when she got too excited playing her wings will be at her belly.....haha she's so cho lohh


We didnt prepare anything for the dogs, since ching came as a beautiful butterfly, S put the devil's horn on Lex....Pooky, he just had his boyish old navy blouse on.
