yesterday was a saturday, a rainy saturday, see the thing with ppl in victoria is, when they sun is out, everybody is on the street..okok just picture this cartoon scenario, see this cloudy sunny day, where the cloud are moving, sun is out, ppl walking on the street, cloud block the sun, *zooooooop!* ppl run inside building, so very ironic.
anyway my point is, Dannsu sale on saturday was less than $10, ever since March, the Sales has dropped big time compare to last year. This is really worrying us , i mean with this big mortgage to carry, we cant afford to let the business flow down like that. I know he spoke to quite a few retailers and biz has been ironicly slow these two months, yet we cant help to hv the paranoid thought that this might be becoz of the new location.
Darling realised this cant go on anymore..so he put in some effort, putting out feature furniture outside the store,hired interior designer to decorate the window (which not a very good job has been done), hanging windchimes by the canopy at the entrance to attract more ppl in.
see, b4 this, i often walk up the street from the old store and will literally pass by the new store, to me, is just a whole stretch of hidden stores covered by this ugly long canopy. and i never knew what kinda stores were in there and obviously had never stepped into one. We desperately wanted one of the location becoz is on johnson st and is just 6 doors up the street, so desperate that the only way we could get that spot is to buy lonewolf gallery's biz, so we did.
is this all worth it? geeeeeeez i cant wait to get out to work to help out with the financial.
i keep telling darling n myself, one's life will never be smooth sailing all the way, there are obviously ups and downs, try to find ways to solve things when ur in trouble, if this doesnt work, try somewhere else? Calgary is a good potential, ppls r rich and there arent any this kinda store around at all!
I mean yea during winter is 20feet of snow there, but to be supportive, im willing to move anyway he goes, im here after all arent i?
